Additional Costs & Exclusions

Most household items are covered in our standard pricing. However, certain materials carry specific disposal fees set by the Whangārei transfer station. We will always tell you upfront if your load includes items with additional fees. There are no hidden surprises.

First 5 Free

The first 5 tyres per load are included at no extra charge. Beyond that:

Car tyres $10 each (incl. GST)
4WD / Light commercial tyres $16 each (incl. GST)
Truck tyres $32 each (incl. GST)
Tyres on rims Add $4.60 each (incl. GST)

Paint & Chemicals

Small quantities of dried paint tins can be included in standard loads. Wet paint and chemicals are charged by volume. Contact us for a specific quote.

Polystyrene

Large quantities of polystyrene (foam packaging, insulation) are expensive to dispose of responsibly. If you have significant polystyrene, let us know when booking so we can quote accurately.

We Cannot Accept

For safety and regulatory reasons, we cannot remove:

✕ Asbestos or suspected asbestos
✕ Large quantities of chemicals, fuels, oils, or solvents
✕ Explosives, ammunition, or firearms
✕ Medical or biohazard waste
✕ Certain industrial or pressurised gas cylinders
